Magnetic Landscape examines the way several contemporary video artists use landscape as a point of arrival or departure to create new visual metaphors. In this exhibition each artist utlizes landscape, real or imagined, as a repository for their ideas. The landscape then becomes reconstructed, collected, appropriated, and re-formed. Artists include Adam Frelin, Rodney Graham, Rie Olshi, Jennifer Steinkamp, Diana Thater, Monica Duncan, and Laura Odell.
